There are lots of thin-ply masquerading as full thickness, lower-quality, double-fold shipped bags out there. Don't be fooled! Our bags are high-quality, full-ply thickness (each side), heat sealed to themselves, won't melt to your hot iron, custom wrapped shipping, and never shipped double folded! How may we help serve your home food storage needs in these troubled times? Preparation brings real safety and peace, empower yourself!
Our Standard One Year Supply of Food Unit consists of 11 cases of our #10 cans (with 6 cans in each case) consisting of fruits, vegetables, cooking aids, imitation meats, whole grains, dairies and drinks. This unit can supply 1104 calories per day for one person and is a great way to get started on your food storage program. It is recommended that you still add wheat, beans and rice. To find individual calories for each product check out the additional information on each product which will include number of servings.
Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.
Shelf Life: Should be stored in a cool, dark place. The optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for long-term food storage. This unit contains items that vary in shelf life ranging from 5 years to 30 years. Mixes store the least amount of time and grains and rice will store the longest. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
Packaged in a plant that contains milk, wheat, eggs, soy, and tree nut products.
