Directions: Add 1 cup rice to 1 3/4 to 2 cups cold water. More water (1/2 cup) for higher altitudes. May add 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter and 1 tsp. salt. Cover with lid and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook 15-20 minutes, keeping lid on and avoid stirring. Let stand 10 minutes and then fluff with fork before serving.
